High School Students often work while they are in school; therefore, the Clothing RAK provides "dressy" clothing that can be used for job interviews.  I wanted to provide tips for students seeking employment to help students succeed in the job hunt.

INTERVIEW TIPS

6 Important Things You Should Know

1. Know Yourself

You need to go into an interview knowing what your strengths are. You should go into the interview prepared to talk about your hobbies, extracurricular activities, volunteering, etc.

2. Understand what employers are looking for

Employers want to know  that you're willing to learn and that you are responsible, someone they can count on.

3. Practice interviewing with a family member/friend

If you want to be super prepared and "wow" your interviewer, practice with someone you feel comfortable with beforehand! It will really make a difference.

4. Dress appropriately

Do not walk into an interview in sweats and a t-shirt and your hair looking like you just rolled out of bed!

5. Keep your phone turned on silent, or even better, turn it off! this one is pretty self-explanatory.

6. Be aware of your body language for example, try not to slouch or jiggle your foot. Look in the interviewer's eyes, sit up straight and stay still. Try not to fidget.
